For women to go solo, together.
Welcome to SoFe Travel! Our women-only itineraries support local women and lead you to places most tours miss, like dawn-lit bakeries, courtyard studios, hillside hamlets. It’s effortless, intentional travel for women who crave more than ticking boxes.
Experience it alongside fellow solo female travelers, and connection happens fast. Bus-ride jokes, market meanders, and midnight rooftop toasts turn strangers at check-in into genuine travel friends.
From vetted guides to behind the scenes support, someone always has your back from baggage claim to back‑alley bazaars.
You may start as strangers, but after sharing stories over street-noodle and golden-hour photos, you’ll be travel besties by dusk.
We've got it covered from logistics and seamless transfers to secret spots locals whisper about. You show up; we stage the magic.
Up to 14 women share long tables, laughter, clinks with glasses while swapping stories, passing plates, stacking memories.
We’re the largest community of women travelers on the planet, and we’ve turned those connections into life-changing adventures.
AND GIVE YOU STORIES WORTH RETELLING.

Holi throws color at your face. Home-cooked feasts, sacred rituals, and streets alive with centuries of tradition. India doesn't ease you in, it transforms you.

Dance in Dracula’s Castle on Halloween, then explore haunted forests and enchanted villages pulled from folklore. This one’s for the witches.

In the remote Altai Mountains, eagle hunters, drumming hooves, and ancient traditions pull you back through centuries.

Slurp ramen in a neon alley, soak in an onsen, then step into centuries-old rituals you didn’t even know you craved. Bring your curiosity and stretchy pants.

Camels at sunset. Bread baked by hand in village ovens. Morocco moves to a rhythm older than memory, and you'll dance to it without even trying.

Trade traffic jams for feluccas and sunsets that deserve their own soundtrack. Float down the Nile with your travel besties, mint tea in hand, and that “yep, I’m really here” grin plastered on your face.
These are perfect for first-timers.
Every two years, the mountains of Kyrgyzstan come alive with a spectacle of horseback battles, eagle hunting, wrestling, music, dance, and fire-lit celebrations.
Together we’ll roll noodles by hand in a family kitchen, visit a women’s cooperative keeping ancient crafts alive, and learn to build a yurt just as their ancestors did centuries ago.

You can't find the experiences we have in any guide book. Intentional choices about where we stay and who we work with— give us a unique “locals” experience immersed in authentic culture, traditions and ceremonies for women.

We believe you can chase adventure and sleep well. Expect boutique hotels, historic homes, desert camps, and locally-owned guesthouses — places chosen for soul, design, location, and the kind of sunrise view that will stay with you forever.

It takes courage to step off the easy path. Our travelers come solo but arrive with a shared mindset: curiosity, connection, a little grit, and a hunger for something deeper than sightseeing. You’ll come as strangers — and leave as part of something rare.

Solo travel doesn’t have to mean stressful travel. We take care of the logistics — from flights on tiny riverboats to rooftop dinners — so you can focus on being present, open, and ready for whatever the world has waiting.

From the women who guide our tours to the local artisans who share their stories, we intentionally weave women's empowerment into every trip. We seek out women-owned hotels, family-run businesses, and cultural initiatives that make a difference — because when women support women, the whole world opens up.

Opting to share a room? We don’t leave it to chance. Our bespoke matching system — created with a specialized psychologist — pairs you with a roommate whose lifestyle, energy, and rhythms align with yours, setting the stage for a trip (and maybe a friendship) to remember.
After 10 years of traveling on her own, founder Amanda Black started a facebook group called ‘The Solo Female Traveler Network’ to connect women around the world.
