After 10 years of traveling on her own, founder Amanda Black started a Facebook group called “The Solo Female Traveler Network” to connect women around the world.
After one wildly successful 10-day girls trip to Bali, today 580,000+ women fondly call our network “SoFe.”

You’re in good company. Lots of our travelers are on their first solo trip. Everything is planned for you, you’re with a small group from day one, and our team is a message away 24/7. You just have to show up.
Every trip comes with a twin-share room, and you can upgrade to a private room if you’d rather have your own space. Sharing? We match roommates with a quiz we built with a professional matchmaker and a psychologist, so you’re paired with someone who fits how you travel.
Most of our solo travelers are 30-55, bold, excited and ready for adventure. But, we have had travelers as young as 18 and as old as 70!
Sidenote: while we do enjoy a couple of cocktails at sunset, we are not a big party tour. We are here for incredible, quality experiences that we’ll remember forever.
Travel insurance is not included, but it’s really easy to get set up. You can refer here for our recommendations. It IS mandatory to have travel insurance before you arrive.
Cancel 90+ days before departure and you’ll get a refund, minus your $550 deposit and a cancellation fee. Plans changing? You can also move your trip once for free with 91+ days notice. Full details are in our booking terms.
