Notes
Though Jordan’s desert dry heat can send the temperatures soaring, especially during the months of May through September, it is an easier heat to manage than heat with humidity. That being said, we’ll do our best to stay out of the sun during the hottest parts of the day and visit sites either in the early morning or evening hours. At major sites, you should still be prepared with a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water.
From March to November, there’s some relief from the heat. Temperatures can dip quite low and there’s also a greater chance of rain. Be sure to pack layers and rain gear if you’ll be visiting during Jordan’s colder season.

amazing sense of community

“Our tour guide Jihan was FANTASTIC!!! I mean, she went above and beyond. She literally has a special place in my heart, a truly good person. If you’re on the fence about going to Jordan with SoFe, go with them! You won’t regret it and you never know unless you try. Have fun!” Kaleigh S. | Jordan
above and beyond my expectations

“My favorite part of this Meetup Tour was meeting local people and doing projects with them. We painted pottery and did little mosaics, while talking to them about their life. It felt like we really got to know the culture and being able to relate with other women.” Debbie F. | Jordan
just what I didn't know I needed!

“I rode a mule for the first time up a mountain to The Monastery and went stargazing where I saw the sparkling diamond-like Vega. I also got a Dead Sea mud massage that was amazing! I felt very comfortable travelling with other SoFe travellers. I felt like we could really be ourselves and be in spaces with the local women where they could let their guard down and share their culture and personality with us. There are so many moments I will cherish forever.” Ericka M. | Jordan
