into homes, traditions, and moments that most travelers will never find.
Take the quiz!
We design small-group tours for women who believe the best stories are found off the tourist trail.
We choose family-run guesthouses over hotel chains. Shared meals over buffet lines. Every journey we create is rooted in supporting women, celebrating local culture, and giving back to the communities that welcome us.
And we believe the true heart of travel is found in women’s laughter, shared kitchens, and stories passed hand to hand across cultures.
These aren’t just trips. They’re stories you’ll tell forever.
and give you stories worth retelling.
Holi throws color at your face. Diwali lights up your spirit. Home-cooked feasts, sacred rituals, and streets alive with centuries of tradition — India doesn't ease you in. It transforms you.
Dance in Dracula’s Castle on Halloween, then explore haunted forests and enchanted villages that feel pulled from folklore. This one’s for the witches.
In the remote Altai Mountains, eagle hunters, drumming hooves, and ancient traditions pull you back through centuries. The Golden Eagle Festival isn’t just a spectacle — it's a living story.
Slurp ramen in a neon alley, soak in an onsen, then step into centuries-old rituals you didn’t even know you craved. In Japan, precision meets poetry. Bring your curiosity and stretchy pants.
Camels at sunset. Fires crackling under star-splashed skies. Bread baked by hand in village ovens. Morocco moves to a rhythm older than memory — and you'll dance to it without even trying.
Wildebeest thunder across golden plains. Lions stalk the horizon. The sun sinks as zebras graze in the quiet. Kenya isn’t a safari — it’s a front-row seat to life’s wild, breathtaking dance.
This is more than travel.
It’s perspective-shifting, soul-expanding, woman-powered adventure.
Wander spice-scented bazaars. Soar over ancient valleys at sunrise. Share meals with women whose families have called Cappadocia home for generations — all with a woman guide and woman driver leading the way. This isn’t just a tour — it’s a deep dive into the soul of Turkey, stitched together by food, art, and unforgettable connection.
One morning you’re gliding over Cappadocia in a hot air balloon. The next, you’re hiking hidden valleys, boating on the Bosphorus, or sipping tea in an ancient caravanserai. We keep it grounded, local, and full of moments you’ll never find from behind a bus window.
Learn the art of Turkish cooking from women who’ve perfected recipes over generations.
Visit private homes, wander artisan workshops, and explore sacred spaces where most travelers don’t have access. This journey brings you past the postcard and into the real Turkey — where hospitality is a way of life.
Visit a village where women earn a living through the art of traditional dollmaking — preserving crafts passed down through generations.
Dine at a female-run NGO restaurant where your meal helps support women’s empowerment programs. Here, every experience brings you closer to the stories, skills, and strength of Turkey’s women.
Crater rims at sunrise. Elephants in the road. Sundowners in the Serengeti.
This isn’t just a safari—it’s a front-row seat to one of Earth’s last truly wild places. Raw, majestic, and unforgettable in every direction.
From luxe tented camps to crater-view lodges, your stays are remote, unforgettable, and completely surrounded by nature. Stars overhead, zebras nearby, wine ready. You’re not just visiting—you’re in it.
There’s a reason it’s iconic. But what makes this safari stand out isn’t just the wildlife—it’s how you experience it. Wide-open landscapes without the crowds, expert local guides who actually love what they do, and golden hour drives that feel like a dream you get to live out loud.
You can't find the experiences we have in any guide book. Intentional choices about where we stay and who we work with— give us a unique “locals” experience immersed in authentic culture, traditions and ceremonies for women.
We believe you can chase adventure and sleep well. Expect boutique hotels, historic homes, desert camps, and locally-owned guesthouses — places chosen for soul, design, location, and the kind of sunrise view that will stay with you forever.
It takes courage to step off the easy path. Our travelers come solo but arrive with a shared mindset: curiosity, connection, a little grit, and a hunger for something deeper than sightseeing. You’ll come as strangers — and leave as part of something rare.
Solo travel doesn’t have to mean stressful travel. We take care of the logistics — from flights on tiny riverboats to rooftop dinners — so you can focus on being present, open, and ready for whatever the world has waiting.
From the women who guide our tours to the local artisans who share their stories, we intentionally weave women's empowerment into every trip. We seek out women-owned hotels, family-run businesses, and cultural initiatives that make a difference — because when women support women, the whole world opens up.
Opting to share a room? We don’t leave it to chance. Our bespoke matching system — created with a specialized psychologist — pairs you with a roommate whose lifestyle, energy, and rhythms align with yours, setting the stage for a trip (and maybe a friendship) to remember.
Every SoFe trip is handcrafted — not mass-produced.
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter itineraries or tourist traps.
We believe in journeys designed for women who want more: deeper culture, authentic connection, and memories you can’t find on a map.
Our adventures are built around local women — their homes, their stories, their traditions — creating a ripple effect that empowers communities everywhere we go.
BUILT FOR ADVENTURERS.
I’m Amanda, founder of SoFe — and a solo traveler who craved something the travel world didn’t offer:
depth, courage, and connection without compromise.
I built SoFe for women who don’t just want to see the world — they want to be part of it.
For women who crave real connection, bold experiences, and a sisterhood of travelers who understand that the best journeys change you.
Since 2018, we’ve led thousands of women through unforgettable corners of the world — from ancient deserts to mountain villages — building a global network that spans 100+ countries and counting.
Here, whether it’s your first solo trip or your fifteenth, you’ll find women who don’t follow the guidebook — they write their own.
Let us introduce you to Tini, she is hilarious, brilliant and incredibly kind. Tini has been leading our tours in Bali for quite some time now. With her infectious energy and wealth of knowledge about Bali, she brightens up every excursion with her presence.
Tini is more than just a guide; she's a ray of sunshine. Whether you're curious about the local culture, seeking recommendations for the best photo spots, or simply looking for a good laugh, Tini is there with her endless patience and genuine warmth.
Come to Bali With Us!
Say 'merhaba' to Fatma, everyone's favorite grandma and a pioneer for women in Turkey. Her career as a driver started when she became the very first ambulance driver the country had ever seen. As her life slowed down, she switched to the tourist track, showing SoFe girls an insider look at Turkey from the best hidden fruit stands and gozleme stops, where to buy the most colorful embroidery (since she is super talented in this art as well, passed down to her from her mother), and supplying endless smiles, coffee stops, and spontaneous road trip dance parties. Come to Turkey with us!
We’re not just a Facebook group.
We’re the world’s largest community of solo female travelers — and now, we’re going deeper.
SoFe was built by women who crave connection, not just travel tips.
We host virtual meetups, destination matchmaking, and real-world adventures — and now, with our new membership, you can access even more: insider experiences, early tour access, and a space to meet your future travel besties long before the plane takes off.
Whether you’re brand new or five trips in, you’re part of something big — and it’s better when you show up.
Our tours take you off the beaten path — but membership takes you even further.
As a SoFe Member, you’ll get early access to new tours, first dibs on limited spots, insider-only experiences, and the chance to shape your journey before it even begins.
In some destinations, you’ll unlock hidden bonuses — like private cultural workshops or extra experiences designed just for members.
If you’re serious about traveling deeper, connecting sooner, and claiming your next adventure before anyone else — this is where you belong.
“This was my third tour with SoFe, and I would rate this tour a 10/10. The group of Goddess I was with were AWESOMENESS. We all interacted together like we were friends for years.”
“My SoFe Tour felt like just a bunch of girlfriends out on an adventure. Is there anything better?”
“It’s hard to put into words how incredible my experience with SoFe in Morocco was…to see life in Morocco through a female’s eyes was unique and something I will never forget.”
It started with a bad travel experience – and turned into a lifelong passion combining travel, adventure, connection and community.
After 10 years of traveling on her own, founder Amanda Black started a facebook group called ‘The Solo Female Traveler Network’ to connect women around the world.
One wildly successful 10 day girls trip to Bali later – today 600,000 + women fondly call our network “SoFe.”
