I’m Amanda, founder of SoFe and a solo traveler who craved something the travel world didn’t offer: depth, courage, and connection without compromise.
I built SoFe for women who don’t just want to see the world — they want to be part of it. For women who crave real connection, bold experiences, and a sisterhood of travelers who understand that the best journeys change you.
Since 2018, we’ve led thousands of women through unforgettable corners of the world – from ancient deserts to mountain villages – building a global network that spans 100+ countries and counting.

Say 'merhaba' to Fatma, everyone's favorite grandma and a pioneer for women in Turkey. Her career as a driver started when she became the very first ambulance driver the country had ever seen. As her life slowed down, she switched to the tourist track, showing SoFe girls an insider look at Turkey from the best hidden fruit stands and gozleme stops, where to buy the most colorful embroidery (since she is super talented in this art as well, passed down to her from her mother), and supplying endless smiles, coffee stops, and spontaneous road trip dance parties. But how is it “solo” if you’re together?
Can I bring a friend, mom / daughter?
Is everything included?
How old are your travelers?
Most of our solo travelers are 30-55, bold, excited and ready for adventure. But, we have had travelers as young as 18 and as old as 70!
Sidenote: while we do enjoy a couple of cocktails at sunset, we are not a big party tour – we are here for incredible, quality experiences that we’ll remember forever.
Is travel insurance included? How do I get it?
Travel insurance is not included – but it’s really easy to get set up. You can refer here for our recommendations. It IS mandatory to have travel insurance before you arrive.
What do I do before departure day of a tour?
What’s your cancellation policy?
Unless specified differently, all of our tours are refundable up until 90 days before departure, with the exception of your $550 deposit.
What is the activity level of your tours?
Our activities can be handled by most women, but the ‘level of difficulty’ is specified on each page for each tour. If you have specific questions, please contact us here.
