Take the quiz!
but what if it could be even better?
You know you can do it.
You’ve booked the flights, figured out the local transportation, eaten dinner alone with confidence.
But sometimes…
You crave real connection.
You want more than just sightseeing and selfies.
You’re tired of juggling Google Maps, figuring out where to eat, or hoping someone cool is in your hostel dorm.
And traditional group tours?
They’re too rigid, have no solo time, or filled with couples and families.
There’s a better way.
Holi throws color at your face. Diwali sets off fireworks in your soul. And the street food? Basically a religious experience. You won’t ease into India. You’ll cannonball in. And that’s the point.
Dance in Dracula’s Castle on Halloween, then explore haunted forests and enchanted villages that feel pulled from folklore. This one’s for the witches.
In the remote mountains, eagles soar, drums echo, and ancient traditions come alive. The Golden Eagle Festival isn’t just a spectacle—it’s a portal to another world.
Slurp ramen in a neon alley, soak in an onsen, then step into centuries-old rituals you didn’t even know you craved. In Japan, precision meets poetry. Bring your curiosity and stretchy pants.
Camels at golden hour. Tagine that tastes like it’s been simmering for centuries. You'll laugh, cry, dance, and come home with sand in your shoes and stories in your bones. Therapy could never.
Watch wildebeest thunder across the plains, sip sundowners as zebras stroll by, and experience Kenya’s raw, majestic magic—like a nature doc, but you’re in it.
and give you stories worth retelling.
This is more than travel.
It’s perspective-shifting, soul-expanding, woman-powered adventure.
Lantern-lit streets. Floating villages. Speedboats to hidden tunnels.
This isn’t a tour—it’s a front-row seat to two of Southeast Asia’s most captivating countries. Packed with flavor, history, and beauty that sneaks up on you.
This isn’t a bus tour. One day you’re skimming down the Saigon River by speedboat to secret war tunnels. The next, you’re pedaling through rice paddies or floating in a round bamboo coracle trying ancient fishing techniques. We keep it local, fun, and never boring.
From harvesting herbs in a chef’s garden before cooking a full Vietnamese meal, to sipping off-menu cocktails in hidden bars, this trip goes way beyond the tourist track. It’s immersive, it’s interactive, and every moment is rooted in real life, not staged sightseeing.
Meet the people shaping Vietnam and Cambodia’s future—like Ms. Hanh, who’s leading the charge on sustainable farming, or artisans keeping century-old traditions alive. This trip isn’t about watching culture from a distance—it’s about being invited into it.
Crater rims at sunrise. Elephants in the road. Sundowners in the Serengeti.
This isn’t just a safari—it’s a front-row seat to one of Earth’s last truly wild places. Raw, majestic, and unforgettable in every direction.
From luxe tented camps to crater-view lodges, your stays are remote, unforgettable, and completely surrounded by nature. Stars overhead, zebras nearby, wine ready. You’re not just visiting—you’re in it.
There’s a reason it’s iconic. But what makes this safari stand out isn’t just the wildlife—it’s how you experience it. Wide-open landscapes without the crowds, expert local guides who actually love what they do, and golden hour drives that feel like a dream you get to live out loud.

Solo travel is a mindset that requires courage, curiosity, kindness, and a thirst for adventure – and all of our travelers have this in common. Come as strangers, leave as lifelong friends.
Intentionally created solo time – but add an epic itinerary. We deal with the hotels, expeditions, transportation, guides, dining and logistics – you just bring good vibes.
Every single part of SoFe Travel is about supporting women. From empowering our travelers to live out their wildest dreams – to the staff and guides we work with. Every single place we can, we handpick women owned hotels, businesses and partners.
We partnered with a specialized psychologist to create our bespoke, roommate matching process. If you opt for a shared room, we will pair you with your most compatible match on the tour, from lifestyle to interests to sleep schedules.
…but what’s not unique is the level of care, curation and community we bring to everything we do.
Our expertise is curating once-in-a-lifetime adventures through handcrafted experiences and accommodations – anchored with intentional partnerships with women-owned-businesses around the world.
Community-powered. 7 years strong.
I’m Amanda, founder of SoFe — and a long-time solo female traveler myself. I started this company in 2018 because I knew firsthand how powerful, beautiful, and sometimes lonely solo travel can be.
I wanted more than just logistics and sightseeing. I wanted connection. Depth. Women who just got it.
SoFe was built for women like you — independent, curious, and ready for something meaningful.
Since then, we’ve taken thousands of women on unforgettable trips across the world — from weekend retreats to once-in-a-lifetime adventures — and built a global community that spans 100+ countries.
Whether it’s your first solo trip or your fifteenth, you’ll be in good company here.

Come to Bali With Us!
Say 'merhaba' to Fatma, everyone's favorite grandma and a pioneer for women in Turkey. Her career as a driver started when she became the very first ambulance driver the country had ever seen. As her life slowed down, she switched to the tourist track, showing SoFe girls an insider look at Turkey from the best hidden fruit stands and gozleme stops, where to buy the most colorful embroidery (since she is super talented in this art as well, passed down to her from her mother), and supplying endless smiles, coffee stops, and spontaneous road trip dance parties. Come to Turkey with us!
We are the world’s largest community for solo female travelers. And it only works because of women like you. Whether you’re dropping into our Facebook groups, showing up to virtual hangouts in your pajamas, stalking us on Instagram (no shame), or hopping on a plane for a meetup tour—you’re part of something big. So go ahead, get involved. Lurk less, connect more. We’re cooler when you’re here.
How do visas work? What happens when I get lonely? Do I really need travel insurance?

It started with a bad travel experience – and turned into a lifelong passion combining travel, adventure, connection and community.
After 10 years of traveling on her own, founder Amanda Black started a facebook group called ‘The Solo Female Traveler Network’ to connect women around the world.
One wildly successful 10 day girls trip to Bali later – today 600,000 + women fondly call our network “SoFe.”
