Here’s what you need to know at a glance:

  • $200/month is added to your personal SoFe travel fund.

  • Every dollar goes toward your future trip — no fees, no expiration for two years after each payment.

  • First access to new, limited-capacity tours (some with only one departure per year).

  • Exclusive on-tour perks only for active members.

  • Private community access for members only — canceled accounts lose access immediately.

  • Membership is free — but you must stay active to keep your benefits.

  • Cancel anytime with two weeks’ notice (just email us).

  • Funds are non-refundable but can be used for trips, upgrades, extra nights, and some add-ons.

  • Must be an active member at time of travel to receive special tour perks.

  • We reserve the right to update terms with notice.

✍️ SoFe Membership Terms & Conditions

Effective as of May 1, 2025

1. Membership Overview

The SoFe Membership is a travel savings and benefits program designed exclusively for women travelers who are part of The Solo Female Traveler Network (SoFe Travel). Membership grants early access to new trips, exclusive on-tour experiences, access to a private community space, and other perks.

By enrolling, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


2. Payment Terms

  • Membership requires an automatic payment of $200 USD per month into your personal travel fund.

  • Payments are not a fee; every dollar is credited toward future SoFe trips, private room upgrades, optional add-ons, and other eligible travel-related expenses.

  • Your $200/month commitment is locked in at the time you join.

  • If you miss a payment, a one-week grace period will be given. After that, your membership and associated benefits will be paused until payment resumes or your account is canceled.


3. Credit and Refund Policy

  • Funds paid into your travel account are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • If you choose to cancel your membership, your accumulated travel credit remains valid for two (2) years from the date each payment was made.

  • Travel credit is transferable to another person at your written request.

  • Funds cannot be withdrawn as cash or applied outside of eligible SoFe offerings.


4. Booking with Travel Credit

  • Your travel fund acts as a standard payment method toward SoFe trip costs.

  • Credit may be applied toward:

    • Tour deposits and balances

    • Private room upgrades

    • Pre- or post-trip hotel nights

    • SoFe-arranged optional add-ons

  • If your balance does not fully cover the deposit or cost, you may pay the difference separately.

  • Availability of trips, upgrades, and add-ons is not guaranteed and may vary.


5. Trip Cancellations and Changes

  • Once travel credit is applied toward a booking, the standard SoFe Travel Terms & Conditions for tour bookingsapply.

  • If a tour is canceled by SoFe, your applied credit will be returned to your travel fund for future use. Refunds are not issued.


6. Membership Cancellation

  • You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting an email request to [email protected].

  • Cancellation requires two (2) weeks’ advance notice to avoid the next monthly payment.

  • Upon cancellation, you will immediately lose access to:

    • First access to tours

    • Member-exclusive experiences and perks

    • The private community platform

    • Insider virtual events

  • Your travel fund balance remains intact and available for eligible use within two years.


7. Community Access

  • Active membership is required to access the SoFe private online community and related member-only events.

  • If your membership is canceled or paused, your community access will be revoked immediately.


8. Special Tour Perks

  • Member-only experiences included in tours (such as private photo shoots, workshops, or special tastings) are only available to active members at the time of travel.

  • If you cancel your membership after booking but before your trip departs, you will forfeit access to exclusive member-only on-tour inclusions.


9. Changes to Membership Terms

  • SoFe Travel reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue membership benefits, structure, or terms at any time.

  • Members will be notified of any significant changes via email at least 30 days in advance.

  • Continued participation after updates constitutes agreement to revised terms.


10. General Disclaimers

  • Membership benefits, trip availability, and bonus inclusions are subject to change without notice.

  • SoFe Travel is not responsible for trip cancellations, changes, or limitations outside our control, including but not limited to supplier changes, travel restrictions, or unforeseen events.

  • Membership does not guarantee availability of specific tours or experiences.
