Handwoven in Uganda by women artisans using age-old coiling techniques, these baskets carry the warmth of the earth and the ease of slow craft. Each spiral is shaped by hand, wrapping natural fibers into forms that are both sturdy and full of life.
The design features soft ivory against rich terracotta, a palette inspired by the Ugandan landscape, where clay soil and sunlit grasslands meet. Each pattern tells a slightly different story, blending geometric precision with the freedom of handwork.
Made from locally gathered raffia and banana fiber, twisted and sun-dried before weaving, each piece shows small variations in color and form, subtle reminders of the hands that made them.
