In Uganda, women gather beneath the shade of a tree on sunny days, weaving side by side as they talk, laugh, and share their days. Each basket is born from that circle, a blend of artistry, livelihood, and community that helps women build independence. Only one set of these baskets are in stock!

Each basket begins in community, women sitting together to weave, earning income that strengthens their families and independence. Every finished piece carries both their skill and their story.
Handwoven in Uganda using age-old coiling techniques, these baskets combine heritage with contemporary design. The pattern features bold black and white spirals, a striking contrast that feels both modern and timeless, like movement captured in stillness.
Made from locally gathered raffia and banana fiber, twisted and sun-dried before weaving, each piece holds subtle variations in color and shape, quiet reminders of the hands that created them.
