Each basket begins in community, women sitting together to weave, earning income that strengthens their families and independence. Every finished piece carries both their skill and their story.
Handwoven in Uganda by women artisans using age-old coiling techniques, these baskets showcase the natural beauty of raffia fiber in shades of sand, indigo, and black. The geometric patterns are timeless yet modern, echoing the rhythm of handwork and the balance of everyday life.
Crafted from locally gathered raffia and banana fiber, twisted and sun-dried before weaving, each piece holds subtle variations in tone and form, quiet reminders of the hands that made them.
