Description

Handwoven in Uganda by women artisans using age-old coiling techniques, these baskets bring heritage and craft into the heart of modern living. Each spiral is made by hand, wrapping natural fibers into a sturdy form that feels both grounded and alive.

The pattern is a half-moon of crisp white and warm clay, accented with deep red motifs strikes a balance between tradition and contemporary design. The tones are earthy and bold, a nod to Uganda’s landscapes and the artisans’ creative spirit.

Crafted from locally gathered raffia and banana fiber, twisted and sun-dried before weaving, each piece carries slight variations in color and form, small signatures of the hands that made them.

  • Large: 12″ diameter

These baskets are sold as a set of 3. Please allow for some imperfections since these were made by hand, not machine.
