Our Content Collection Policy
We aim to provide absolute clarity regarding how we utilize your photographs and videos to advertise or sell our Meetup Tours, as well as the circumstances in which you may be credited as a photographer/videographer.
We have prepared this Image and Video Use Policy to ensure you understand the processes involved once your photograph has been added to our Image and Video Collection at SoFe Travel.
Please note that all images and videos received by SoFe Travel via the list below will be added to our Image and Video Collection.
This Policy applies to photographs and videos we receive in the following ways:
- Photographs and videos submitted to SoFe Travel from travelers as part of Meetup Tour feedback.
- Photographs and videos  posted within any of SoFe Travel’s WhatsApp groups.
- Photographs posted on any of SoFe Travel’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
- Photographs and videos  submitted as part of any competition conducted by SoFe Travel.
- Photographs and videos  submitted by contributors to our Travel Journal as part of a published article.
- Photographs and videos  submitted by employees of SoFe Travel following the completion of a Free of Charge (FOC) trip.
- Photographs and videos  submitted by freelance photographers, social media influencers, and brand ambassadors who have an agreement with SoFe Travel to provide written and visual content.
- Any other photographs and videos submitted to SoFe Travel that do not fall into the above categories.
How will my photography be used?
Once a photograph or video has been added to our Image and Video Collection, it may be used in various ways to promote and sell SoFe Travel Meetup Tours, including (but not limited to):
- Displaying on our website
- Incorporating in our marketing materials and assets across social media
- Including in our digital brochures
- Sharing with third parties to promote or sell our Meetup Tours
When will I be credited for my work?
We will make every effort to credit your work whenever possible, although it may not always be feasible under certain circumstances. SoFe Travel retains final discretion as to when credit will be provided.
What should I do if I no longer want SoFe Travel to use my photography?
If you wish to request the removal of your photographs or videos from our Image and Video Library, you can contact us at [email protected] and specify the photograph(s) or video(s) you would like to have removed. Please ensure to include your full name and a description of the content. Note that images or videos already used will not be able to be removed in most circumstances.
