Our community manager is an important part of our team and probably one of the most fun positions! In a nutshell, you would be in charge of finding our expert community members, planning and creating online workshops/events, and managing our local chapter leaders. You work directly with our founder and have an important role in our community growth!
You are: proactive and creative, positive and well-traveled, have ideas and take ownership.
This is a freelance/contractor position at 10-15 hours per week with the opportunity for more for the right person.

Build and update database of speakers and experts
Create all events and posts for events in FB page, FB groups, FB events, VIP Membership, Meetup
Manage, recruits, and manage local chapter hosts
Host events with guests speakers for our community
Keep updated on RSVPs for each event
Be sure reminder emails to RSVPs go out with important links
Create and send report on event success, attendance, emails collected
Create and distribute polls to members to determine what is most relevant
Communicates with experts and organizes events with them
Post videos to YouTube
Engages in the community convo about events
Remote position with designated co-working hours via Zoom at least 5 hours per week for the first 3 months
At least 5 years professional work experience.
Prefer someone with experience in community building.
Some sort of management experience is ideal.
Must have a community mindset
Social media marketing savvy- can post events and create simple images on Canva.
Must be able to brainstorm and come up with ideas
Must be an excellent email communicator
Must embody our values to represent us via Zoom
